Question: I have a huge problem with plantain and creeping charlie; will this product [Weed Free Zone] work well on these weeds? Cheers, Charles
Answer: Weed Free Zone is a liquid chemical that will work from 45 degrees outside to 90 degrees which makes it one of the most versatile chemicals that can be used throughout the year. It will also control over 80 of the toughest broadleaf weeds which does include ground ivy (creeping charlie) and plantain.
Weed Free Zone is safe for use in Kentucky Bluegrass, Perennial Ryegrass, Tall Fescue, Red Fescue, Colonial Bentgrass, Common Bermuda Grass, Hybrid Bermuda Grass, Bahia Grass, Zoysia Grass, Buffalo Grass, St. Augustine and Centipede Grass.
A 16 ounce bottle will treat 16,000 square feet. You want to make sure that there is no drift onto desirable flowers and shrubs so spraying when the wind is calm in the morning or early evening is a good rule of thumb.
If winter weeds are ruining the aesthetic value of your lawn, get a bottle of Weed Free Zone and take out the weeds before they take over your lawn!
