This was the second year in a row that we had a drought and extremely hot summer.  Our landscape became stressed due to the high temps even though we are continuing to water on a regular basis.  It is just hard for plants to recover from 100°+ temperatures day in and day out.  Landscaping is too expensive, though, to ignore the essentials that it needs to continue to thrive.
